The Gala & CommitteeThe Gala or sometimes referred to as "The Firemans Ball" started over 125 years ago. It began as a formal event and over the years became more of a "Casual Dance" event when times were the toughest. The event disappeared for a few years until this committee of volunteers awoke the sleeping giant to enable it to do good once more. The Gala is a revitalized event that will continue to help local charities and a grand event for all those that attend. The misconception of the event been only for Firefighters is just that..a misconception. This event is hosted by and organized by Fire Fighters but held for the entire public. This is your opportunity to help raise money for charity, have lots of fun, and meet some of the men and women from Fire, Police, Ambulance that are there for you 24 hours a day seven days a week. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you.
